The Toronto Ski Swap provides an excellent opportunity to turn unused equipment into cash while helping others get on the snow at an affordable price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be accepted for sale, all equipment must be in <strong>good to excellent condition<\/strong> and suitable for continued use. If your equipment is several years old, we strongly recommend bringing it to our early inspection session where our volunteers can assess whether it is suitable for resale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Canadian Ski Patrol reserves the right to refuse any item deemed unsafe, non-serviceable, or unlikely to sell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment We Accept<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Skis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ski boots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snowboards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snowboard boots<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment We Do Not Accept<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clothing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loose bindings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment deemed unsafe or unsuitable for resale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Older &#8220;straight skis&#8221; that are no longer in demand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seller Fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>$5.00 registration fee per item<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>25% selling commission on all sold items (before taxes)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The seller determines the selling price when the item is registered. Once accepted, pricing cannot be changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Tracking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sellers can track the status of their registered items online throughout the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unsold Equipment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Equipment that does not sell at the Toronto Ski Swap will automatically be entered into the <strong>Barrie Ski Swap<\/strong> the following weekend, providing an additional opportunity for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before You Register Your Equipment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please decide the following before arriving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payment Method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>E-Transfer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cheque<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If Your Item Does Not Sell<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose one of the following options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Return to Owner<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Donate to the Canadian Ski Patrol<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do Not Return (DNR)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment Registration Times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thursday, October 22<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Better Living Centre (Southeast Corner Entrance, nearest Lakeshore Boulevard)<\/strong><br>6:00 PM &#8211; 9:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the recommended time for inspection and registration of older equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Friday, October 23<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Main Entrance, Better Living Centre<\/strong><br>6:00 PM &#8211; 9:00 PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Regular show admission applies.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Equipment is accepted only during the registration periods listed above.
