More Than Just Used Equipment

When people hear “swap,” they often think of used equipment. In reality, a significant portion of the merchandise available at many swaps is brand new.

Retailers and vendors use swaps in a variety of ways to manage inventory. Some are clearing out previous season models or hard-to-find sizes, while others offer products from special purchases, store returns, liquidation stock, or manufacturer closeouts. Whatever the source, the result is the same:

Outstanding savings for skiers and snowboarders.

At many swaps you’ll find a wide selection of new and used equipment, including:

• Skis and snowboards
• Poles
• Helmets
• Ski and snowboard bags
• Boot bags
• Goggles
• Snowshoes
• Gloves and mitts
• And much more

Whether you’re purchasing your first set of equipment or upgrading existing gear, a swap is one of the best opportunities of the season to save money and find exceptional value.

Supporting the Canadian Ski Patrol

The Canadian Ski Patrol’s Winter Extreme Ski & Board Swaps do more than help people save on equipment. Proceeds from these events help support the Canadian Ski Patrol’s first aid, safety, and rescue programs across Canada.

Every day, more than 4,000 Canadian Ski Patrol members use these skills while assisting skiers and snowboarders at resorts nationwide. Funds raised through swaps help maintain and strengthen the training, equipment, and resources required to deliver these essential services.

Some swaps are operated directly by the Canadian Ski Patrol, while others are run in partnership with local organizations, ski clubs, or resort race programs. In every case, proceeds help support programs that benefit the skiing and snowboarding community.
